This is the first note on this site. It's a small place with a simple purpose: to build useful things and give them away for free.
I'm Tsubasa. I make free, open tools — a Japanese learning suite, a self-improvement app, a little online "university" — and I write about technology, privacy, education, and the world as I see it.
Why free?
Because the alternative quietly decides who gets to learn. Every paywall in front of a lesson is a small gate, and gates always fall hardest on the people with the least to spend. A lot of what sits behind a price tag never needed to.

"Free" here means actually free. Not a trial. Not "free with an account." Not free until the terms change and the useful features move behind a subscription. No ads, no trackers, no data taken from you as the real payment. You show up, you learn, you leave.
What lives here
Three kinds of thing, all free, all staying free.
Tools. A Japanese learning suite, a self-improvement app, and a small online "university" you explore like a little world. Things I needed, built well enough to hand to someone else.
Writing. Notes and essays on privacy, technology, education, and — yes — politics. Written to think out loud and to say the true thing, not to chase a headline.
Whatever comes next. The backlog is long, and the only rule is that it costs the reader nothing.
The promise
If one person learns something here without paying for the privilege, this site has done its job. That's the whole thing.
Welcome. Take what's useful. Pass it on.
