I'm Tsubasa. I build small, free, open tools — a Japanese learning suite, a self-improvement app, a whole tiny university — and I write about the things I care about: privacy, technology, education, and politics. Tsubasa means wings; the idea is to give knowledge a way to travel.
The through-line is simple. I believe knowledge should be free. Not "free trial," not "free with an account," not "free until we change the terms" — just free. No ads, no trackers, no paywalls, no data taken from you in exchange. If a thing here helps you learn something, it has already paid for itself.
